Dad wanted to be an architect when he was a kid. So we knew that we would need to see a lot of old buildings in Europe. After visiting the farmers' market, we went to the city hall. Hanover is the capital of Lower Saxony. The city hall is magnificent!

The building was damaged during WW II. It has been rebult.
