Jane's visit: Cambridge, UK (June 7th, 2009)


On Sunday, we brought Jane's family to visit Cambridge colleges.


King's college, the chapel is on the back.










Lots of punting activities were on River Cam.






Hsu Chih-mo, 徐志摩, studied at King's College in 1920. Here is his famous poem "Good-Bye, Cambridge."

Cotswold, England: Jane's family visit

Ah-Choo's June Europe family trip started at England. We met at the beautiful Cotswolds, one of the paradise on earth, on June 6th.
Ah-Choo brought us the the beautiful flower field first. Does it look like we were in Monet's picture?







Stow on the Wold is a sweet village.

Greece Day 5 - Athens (May 29th, 2009)

The last day in Greece we revisited Athens.



Hadrian's Arch, Acropolis can be seen under the arch.













Temple of Olympian Zeus is a colossal ruined temple that was dedicated to Zeus, king of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC.

The temple's glory was shortlived, as it fell into disuse after being pillaged in a barbarian invasion in the 3rd century AD.

The Panathenaic Stadium (also known as the Kallimarmaron, i.e. the "beautifully marbled") is the only major stadium in the world built fully of white marble (from Mount Penteli).
