Greece Day 1 - Athens (May 25th, 2009)

Greece trip was our first time taking EasyJet, going to Luton airport, and driving to the airport! The driving took about an hour.
From Athens airprot, we took bus X95 to Plateia Mavili (about an hour) where we stayed at Athinais Hotel.

Megaro Moussikis is about 150 m away from hotel Athinais. Monday morning, we took the subway to visit famous Acropolis.
These statues are displayed near the exit of metro Acropolis Station. Jyhwen said the genius of these are in Great Britain Museum now.

First view of Acropolis from a distance.

There was a heat wave in Athens today, temperature was 29 degree Celsius. We tried to stay in shady area as much as possible. After staying Cambridge for 9 months, we don't look like Texasans at all.
