Our main objective today was to drive from Dombas to Oslo. Since Lillehammer (once a host city of winter Olympic) was on the way, we stopped by to take a look (see picture). The most interesting facility was ski jump (see picture). We saw people took lift to the top and do the whole thing without actual snow. We arrived at Oslo in the afternoon. There were constructions going on near our hotel (also near the train station). The area was not too impressive. After checking in, we visited Akershus Slott (see picture). It is a medieval castle and was used by Nazis during WW II. We had dinner near the Royal Palace. As there is no wall (symbolize the openness of the monarchy, the tour book says), we wandered into the garden after dinner (see picture).
