Before taking the trip, Dad read about the magnificent fjords of Norway. The definition of fjord in dictionary is: a long, narrow arm of the sea bordered by steep cliffs: usually formed by glacial erosion. So we decided to spend a few days to visit fjords. We took an early train to the Atlantic shore city Bergen.

The scenery along the railway was nice (see mirror like reflection of the lake). Bergen (see kids at Bergen station) is supposedly a beautiful city. We did not spend time in the city. Instead, we got on a rental car and drive up north.

We needed to take a ferry to get across the narrow part of a fjord.
Steven and our hired car (a rental car). The car was pretty smart - the wiper could be activated with rain drops.

On the way, we also saw many water falls, some goats blocking the road, and a beautiful bus stop. We drove through so many tunnels. Norway is probably the country with the most tunnels!

goat and sheep everywhere. We had to stop a couple of times. Samantha said that the sheep is so cute and she decided she is not going to eat lamb ever!

Such a pretty bus stop
