Stockholm, Sweden (19, Aug., 2008)

Stockholm is a beautiful city fill with churches, public buildings, and museums (see picture). We went to the old town first (see picture of a small street). Next to the old town is the Palace (see picture of the building and guards). Walked across a bridge, we were in a beautiful park (see flowers). We then went to a Swedish culture museum and the Vasa Museum where a warship pulled out from the bottom of the sea is shown. There are nice stores and a delicious food market. We also visited a shopping area popular to local people. In the late afternoon we took train to the Stockholm city hall where Nobel Prizes are awarded every year (see picture of Shiang). We would take a train and get back to Germany the next day.
