Malmo Sweden to Voss Norway via Oslo (13, Aug., 2008)

Our original destination was Bergen. But before leaving for Europe, we could not find “inexpensive” hotel in Bergen. So we booked a hostel (youth hotel) in Voss
.

The map shows where are Oslo and Bergen. Voss is closer to Bergen.

We arrived at Oslo in the morning and changed train to go further west to the mountains. As the train climbed up the mountains, the surroundings changed from green to gray.

The train traveled along a river. Very green.


We saw glacier on top of the mountains. We were in the middle of nowhere but saw a few cyclists riding bikes along the railroad.


So quiet! And see the reflection!


The train made a few stops. An interesting train station.

The hostel is by a lake. The views were breathe-taking. But it was raining so we forgot to take any pictures. The room was OK. Just for the views, we would return!
